Digital inclusion is the need of the hour

A study by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) revealed that in 2010, a staggering 84 per cent of rural India was unaware of the Internet. However, as a result of the government’s ‘Digital India’ campaign they have set a target of providing broadband coverage to 500,000 villages in India.
