Digital technology can add $101 billion to India GDP by 2020: Accenture

According to recent studies conducted by Accenture, technological advancement can lead India’s GDP to grow by $101 billion by 2020. India comes second amongst emerging countries in digital technology’s contribution to its economy and ranks fourth globally. The study which is based on the Accenture Digital Density Index, considered 50 indicators such as the volume of transactions conducted online, the use of cloud or other technologies to streamline processes, and the pervasiveness of technology skills in a company, among others.
