Intel’s initiative to empower non-urban citizens through technology

As a part of Ek Kadam Unnati Ki Aur (EKUKA) initiative, Intel has set up an Unnati Kendra (development centre) and made 800 villagers digitally literate in Nadimpalle village in Telangana state. To realize the vision of Digital India, the company will also launch Unnati Kendras in 10 more states to provide citizen services under the respective state government’s e-panchayat programme and will do partnership with government entities to create the roadmap for the digitisation of rural India.
