‘Modi Govt To Spend BIG On Digital India, Smart Cities’

The global consultancy firm Gartner recently forecasted that the government’s technology spend in 2015 would increase from 5.7 per cent to $6.8 billion including spending on internal services, software, IT services, data centers, devices and telecom services by both local and national bodies. The ‘Digital India’ and ‘Smart Cities’ initiatives have created major attraction among the IT companies of the country contributing to the higher revenues from outside the country.
